International Knowledge Asset Office is founded by Kenny Masaki who has extensive international business experience in maximizing the value of knowledge asset. We are based on the belief that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. Kenny Masaki Japanese Patent Attorney, US Patent Agent
Mr. Masaki is a well poised international IP business person with the qualifications of Japanese Patent Attorney and US Patent Agent. During nearly 30 years of business experience, he has experience in R&D, patent prosecution, international business transactions, management of licensing companies and acquisition of patent portfolio and a patent holding company at Pioneer Corporation and Discovision Associates.

Mr. Masaki has experience working in Japan, Europe and the US in the field of high technology as well as IP licensing and has supervised industry research, patent prosecution, reverse engineering and new business development in one of most successful licensing companies. He has an excellent understanding of gist of invention and can create successful licensing program based upon newly created IP portfolios.

Recently, Mr. Masaki expanded his contacts to China and established successful business relationships with local associates and companies.  His main focus is how to maximize the value of knowledge assets by utilizing the knowledge and creativity of people associated with business.

Mr. Masaki received B.S. in mechanical engineering from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto and passed Japanese patent bar in 1984. He also passed the patent bar and admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Don Wenskay US Patent Attorney
Mr. Wenskay’s practice is primarily devoted to intellectual property counseling with an emphasis on patent prosecution and patent licensing.  During Mr. Wenskay’s 20 year legal career he has worked with hundreds of inventors to help them to maximize legal protection and financial returns on their ideas.  Some of the largest multinational corporations, such as IBM and The Walt Disney Company have entrusted the management and exploitation of their inventions to Mr. Wenskay.  Mr. Wenskay has negotiated numerous multi-million dollar licensing agreements on behalf of his clients with major corporations worldwide.

Mr. Wenskay received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1987 from Wayne State University School of Law and was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1988 and to the California Bar in 1995.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Wenskay’s legal expertise is coupled with a strong technical and scientific background.  Prior to law school, he graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. degree in Physics and worked for several years in science and engineering in the areas of lasers, medical research, semiconductors and sub-atomic particle physics.
